It's been far too long (again) since I've posted to this sucker. I don't know if it's laziness, lack of caring, or the fact no one reads this shit that makes me think, "Eh, I'll do it next month." But in any way, heres a post with stuff about me.
As to the title, I was thinking of maybe turning this into just a regular blog soon. I mean my year here is starting to wind down (only 3 or so months left) and why waste a blog with 10 followers? But with the idea of changing the blog title, a lot of other thoughts have snuck their way into my mess of a mind to bring me the stress of wondering about the future. I've got not much time left here, and it's starting to get a little unnerving thinking about saying goodbye to all of the people that I've met here over the course of my exchange. When I left home, this wasn't much of an issue, because frankly, I knew I would see them all again. This is different. Not only do I have friends here in Lannion who I'll be sure to miss, but the friends I've made through Rotary as well. They come from places that span the globe, even the friends who live in my own country will be difficult to see and stay in real contact with.
But on a positive note, I really am looking forward to college. Real independance, college parties, new friends and faces, and (try not to rupture an artery on this one) I'm even excited to have some work to do again. This past year of doing
literally nothing in class has given me a new sympathy towards the workload teachers gave me in high school. I mean sure, we don't need to know that shit, but it's better than sitting in a room where everyone is required to be there and doing nothing. Plus with my major being in French, I feel like I'll have at least a "slight" advantage.
Aside from long term future, I have quite a bit to do these coming months. I'm doing an exchange in Spain next week for 5 days, which should interesting, considering I speak about as much spanish as a frying pan. Followed by that, I have a huge-ass tour of Europe with all my Rotary friends, which promises to be more fun than I'll remember in the morning. Aaaaaaaannnnddddd, after that, my dear mother comes to visit for 10 days, which should fun, if she doesn't drive me insane. =D
Anyway, this is all I can think to recount at the moment so I'll leave you with this:
